What is Wicked Lovely, anyway?
Wicked Lovely is a YA Urban/Fantasy novel by Melissa Marr. Here is a brief synopsis:
"In a world unseen by mortals, the forces of Summer and Winter are at war. Two Faery Courts have been seeking the Summer Queen for more than nine centuries--one to restore the power of Summer and the other to banish it in this gritty modern Faery tale."
We would, of course, highly recommend it- but don't take our word for it,

Is my child/teen old enough to read Wicked Lovely?
This is an individual decision that must be made specific to each person. However, we can tell you that Wicked Lovely includes strong language, a short sex scene, mentions of drugs, and an attempted rape scene. None of this is very graphic or extreme in any way, but the book has an overall PG-13 rating. Take it for what you will.
Will there be a sequel?
As of now, we don't know of any definite plans for a sequel. However, a second novel, Ink Exchange is in the works and slated for an '08 release. Another book is under contract, and there seems a possibility of a series of 6 books in all, every one featuring characters from the world of Wicked Lovely, though details are unknown.

Is Melissa Marr really on the forums?
Yes, and we're happy to have her there. :) We have a category for questions
here. However, you do need to watch out for frauds. The real Melissa Marr goes by 'Melissa_Marr' in the forums. If you see someone else pretending to be her, please contact a moderator or admin. But yes- we've been told she really does read them from time to time.
